Regionals/ The Agent Deck

As i mentioned before I went out to regionals the other day. I placed 70 out of 200 so i was fairly dissapointed in my performance but it gave me an opportunity to learn what decks are setting themselves apart from the rest. I was especially impressed by the agent decks made from the starter decks released the night before. One of the agent decks placed second in the entire tournament. I bought some of the starter decks soon after and was very impressed with how they can be built but with one exception. Archlord Krystia was not included in the starter deck as it was rumored to be. I want to hear what you guys think about this change in the deck and how it has effected you.

Regionals Today

If you live in the St. Louis area you know that today is the day for regionals. Some of my friends and I are going out to St. Charles this morning to take part in the competition. I will report back here afterward to tell you how it was and how I did!

Exceeds

In a few days Konami is coming out with their new starter deck. This marks a turning point in the history of Yu-Gi-Oh. This deck contains the new card type Exceed. If these new extra deck monsters live up to the power of synchros it could mean a complete change to the meta game as we know it. Extreme Victory Again/ I love the new psychics

This past weekend I attended the extreme victory pre-release event. I am far more excited about this new pack now that I have seen some of the new cards in action. For example the new psychic support released in this pack makes them potentially tournament competitive as they have a possible combo to summon naturia beast, naturia barkion, and naturia landoise in a single turn while maintaining hand advantage. These cards provide this forgotten deck with amazing possibilities. When I perfect this combo that I created I will post how to perform it in a new post. Aside from psychics there is excitement abound about meklords and TG's. these decks have support which could make them very competitive. Also karakuri recieves support in the form of new monsters and a dark bribe counterpart.

Over all this pack will prove to be an exciting one which could change the decks we see in regional competition (except for Six-Samurai which only gained more support).

Extreme Victory

The release of the new TCG set Extreme Victory is just around the corner. With the release set for May 10th and the pre-release event being held on April 30th this is certainly an exciting new set for players of all kinds of decks. Notable decks receiving support in this new pack are Junk, Six Samurai, Gladiator Beasts, and Plants. The entire card list for this set has yet to be released but as of now you can expect a few of these cards to make an appearance.

Gold Series 4 Predictions

As all of you know this summer there will be a new gold series released by Konami. I have heard rumors from all corners of the internet and at local tournaments and here is what I have gathered.

I have heard that there will be the following cards:
Tytannial, Princess of Camellias
Doomcalibur Knight

As I hear of more potential cards i will add them to this list.

It would be much appreciated if you would comment with what you think or hear will be in this exciting set that come with a play mat.

Hidden Arsenal 4

As many of you know in a few days Hidden arsenal 4 will be released. We at terrible deal clan are very excited about this release because of some of the new monsters and support cards coming out in it, especially Trishula.
